There are 5 Zunal.com WebQuests under the keywords "Ancient Greece" and one additional under the keyword "Greece." Of those, I found two to be exemplary, and one to be helpful; however, none of them exactly match the requirements of our assignment for 5233. I am a little bit surprised because I thought there would be more about Ancient Greece. It seems like a pretty common topic to me, and one that lends itself quite easily to a WebQuest. The good news is that ours can be Exemplary!
1. "Visiting Ancient Greece" www.zunal.com/webquest.php?w=83057
This one seems exemplary. The task is well-defined. The process is clear. It requires collaboration from the students. Student self-reflection has been built into the Conclusion. Resources are adequate and varied. Added to Favorites on Zunal.com.
2. "Looking to the Past to Determine the Future" www.zunal.com/webquest.php?w=119404
This one is for slightly older students, maybe Grades 10-11, as it requires students to apply knowledge about Ancient Greek and Roman models of government to creating their own government. The task is good, though. The evaluation section has many rubrics. Incorporates individual and group work. Added to Favorites on Zunal.com
3. "An Overview of Ancient Greece" www.zunal.com/webquest.php?w=69177
This one isn't that great, but there are links to websites in the different areas of Ancient Greece which we also want to cover. These might be helpful. There are also questions we might consider asking if you look under the different tabs on the right. It is linked to South Carolina Social Studies Standards. Added to Favorites on Zunal.com.
